Will the roof crack?

Fibreglass roofs are designed to be flexible. The material can withstand weather related atmospheric changes in temperature as well as small physical loads such as a person walking across the surface.

Can fibreglass roofs be used on balconies?

Yes, once installed, the system is strong enough and durable enough to be used as balconies, walkways, rooftop terraces etc.

Can the roof be insulated?

Yes, the roof can be insulated with various different thicknesses of insulation at time of installation depending on your specific needs. The correct level of insulation will keep your house cool in the summer and warm in the winter, thus reducing your annual energy costs.

How long will the roof last?

All our roofs come with a 40 year guarantee.

How long does it take to be fitted?

Fitting time will vary depending on the size of the the roof, the amount of work required and type of fitment. As each job is different specific fitting times are advised during quotation. As a guide, a standard domestic extension would be fitted in a day. Larger or more complex projects may take a little longer.

What are the advantages of a GRP roof?

GRP roofs are longer lasting, stronger and more flexible than alternatives such as felt. They also have a superior lifespan and is a more physically robust material.

What colours are available?

The roof can be finished in virtually any colour the customer requires but some non-standard colours may carry an additional charge.

Can rooflights or lanterns be fitted?

Roof lights or lanterns can easily be fitted during the installation of your fibreglass roof. Speak to our installation team to discuss your options.
